The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and
Israel is an initiative of the World Council of Churches.
Since the
program was launched in 2002, accompaniers have participated from more
than 30 churches and 14 countries. Accompaniers serve in 3-month terms
in international teams placed in Jerusalem and West Bank villages.
The EAPPI-US
is the US program of the EAPPI and is supported by US national churches
in partnership with Church World Service.
US
accompaniers commit to sharing their experiences through public
speaking, writing and advocacy after they return.
