About EAPPI...

The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) is an initiative of the World Council of Churches.

EAPPI seeks to support local and international efforts to end the Israeli occupation and bring a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with a just peace, based on international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.

Since the program was launched in 2002, volunteer accompaniers from more than 14 countries have taken part in EAPPI. Each accompanier serves a three-month term in an international team, placed in West Bank cities and villages or in Jerusalem.

EAPPI-US is the US-based program supported by US national churches in partnership with Church World Service. US accompaniers commit to sharing their experiences through public speaking, writing and advocacy after they return.
